Goal savings
Savings kept in a separate balance with a named goal, so the money is out of the way of daily spending — and described honestly as a set-aside balance rather than an interest-bearing account.
Anyone saving for something specific: school fees, stock, a deposit, a wedding, an emergency fund.
Built, tested and switched off. It is a function of an issuer or an acquirer, so it stays off until the corresponding authorisation is recorded, or until an authorised institution operates it on the platform. Nothing here is offered to a customer meanwhile. This service will be available after the authorisation of the Banque Centrale du Congo; it is switched off by the administrator
The problem
Money saved inside a spending balance gets spent. Not through weakness — through the ordinary arithmetic of a difficult week, where the money is right there and the need is right now.
How it works
- Create a goal with a name and, if you want, a target.
- Move money into it; it leaves your spendable balance.
- The goal shows what has been set aside and how close it is.
- Take it back whenever you need to — it is your money, held aside, not locked away.
What you can check
Facts about the running platform rather than adjectives. Each one is visible in the product, the API reference or the ledger.
- A goal balance is held apart from the spendable balance, so it does not appear as money available to spend.
- It is on the same ledger with the same statements — saving is a set-aside, not a separate product with separate books.
- The money is yours and withdrawable; nothing is locked and nothing is lent out.
- A goal is described as a set-aside balance, not as an interest-bearing or investment account, because it is not one.
What it costs
Free to create and hold. Moving money in and out of a goal is a movement within your own account.
Questions
Does it pay interest?
No, and we will not imply otherwise. It is a set-aside balance: your own money, held apart from your spending balance so that it is harder to spend by accident. Anything describing a product like this as earning returns is describing something different.
Can I take it out early?
Whenever you like. It is your money. The separation is psychological and practical, not a lock — and a savings product that traps people is not one we want to run.
Why does a separate balance help at all?
Because the hardest moment in saving is a difficult Tuesday when the money is visible in the same place you pay for lunch. Moving it somewhere with a name on it adds a deliberate step, and a deliberate step is usually enough.

Wallets and transfers
A transfer between two accounts is one balanced posting on a double-entry ledger, not a message between two systems that might later disagree.
Restricted wallets
Money that can only be spent on what it was given for, enforced at the posting rather than trusted to the recipient — so a school allowance buys school things.
